Our mountain lion hunts take place mid November through mid January. Success rates have been around 95% the past 5 years taking a 135-145 pound tom lion with a 13 �� - 15� skull. Most all of our lions are scoring Pope and Young. We prefer you take toms only but this is an either sex hunt. We hunt units 76 and 78 in Idaho and most of western Wyoming. These hunts are conducted on four-wheelers, 4x4 trucks and snow-machines depending on snow conditions. Lion hunts are 1 on 1 guided with multiple packs of top lion hounds and houndsmen to accommodate multiple hunters. This is a very physical hunt so arrive prepared. The tags are over the counter.
